This course offers a profound journey into the symbolism of the Tarot using the Rider Waite Smith Deck. You will be guided to engage with the tarot as an archetype within you. Everyone navigates each archetype in the deck, to some degree or another over the course of their life. This happens either directly by embodying the archetype yourself or witnessing it in others.
One might think of this course, as a quest to explore your inner wiring by using the tarot. You will explore and learn how that archetypes in the tarot can guide you in your own journey. Many courses focus on using the Tarot as a divinatory tool, this course ventures beyond that scope.
Tarot 101 is a 10-week tarot course, that will give you insights about yourself that has potential to enhance how you operate in the world. You will learn how to use the Tarot as a mirror, one that reflects a path of personal evolution and self-exploration.
Tarot 101 is suitable for novices in Tarot, as well as those wishing to deepen their personal connection with the with the the Tarot. This course issues an invitation to embark on a personal transformative journey, rather than merely focusing on the divinatory aspect of the Tarot. The curriculum begins with exploring the rich history of the tarot. You will gain foundational knowledge to shed light on the intricate symbolism within the 78 cards of the Major and Minor Arcana.
Throughout the duration of the ten-week course, you’ll form a closer connection to your deck. This will help give insight into the the nuanced interconnections of the cards. Coupled with regular practice, interactive discussions, and individual reflection, you will foster an understanding of the cards and yourself in the process.

Classes are held in our private Google Classroom, over Google Meet for approximately 2 hours each week.
Who is teaching you?
Guiding you on this path is Starlene Breiter. She is an experienced Tarot practitioner and is dedicated to nurturing a welcoming, supportive environment. Moreover, every student’s unique journey is valued here, as personalized mentorship and guidance are provided to bolster your Tarot reading confidence and expertise.
Course details:
Classes are once a week for about 2 hours per class, totalling 20 hours. of classroom time. The classes are recorded for viewing later, but it is highly suggested you come to as many of them as you can. You will get greater benifit from being there live.
Weekly assignments are given to do some reflective Tarot work on yourself, and to reinforce what you learned in class. The Google Classroom is designed to work seemlessly with your computer, or phone and you submit all your work in the Google Classroom, so you will not have to hunt through emails. Once you register, and the class is created, you are given an invitation to join the Google Classroom and everything you need is posted there.
There is a time small commitment with this course, as with anything we do in life— that said—this course is designed not to just make you better at reading the Tarot, it guides you deeper, and to view to the root causes of behaviors while shedding insignt into yourself in the process.
The course does not impose an excessive time burden. It is designed to give you something special to look forward to every week. Something just for you. If you really think about it, and how often we all just pick up a phone or device and spend countless hours scrolling, playing games reading junk or watching videos..When you think of it that way, you owe it to yourself to spend some time and energy on getting closer to YOU!
